If you use the contact form or email me, I keep your name, organisation, email address and message so I can reply and, if we go ahead, arrange the work. Lawful basis: legitimate interests, and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.

I keep work contact details for people I'm in professional contact with. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.
Newsletter
If you subscribe, I keep your email address because you asked me to. Lawful basis: consent. You can unsubscribe from any email.
Clients
Contact details and correspondence, to deliver the work (contract), and invoicing records (legal obligation).
I use a small number of service providers to run the practice: Webflow (this website and its form), Microsoft 365 (email and files) and Notion (my contact records). They process data on my instructions and don't use it for their own purposes. I never sell your data.
Some of these providers store data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is covered by safeguards approved under UK data protection law, as set out in each provider's data-processing terms.
This site sets no tracking cookies, and fonts are served from this site.
You can ask to see the personal data I hold about you, correct it, delete it, object to how I use it, or ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Email hello@pondus.uk and I'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
When I work with an organisation's participant data, such as survey responses, I do so on that organisation's behalf under written terms. Their privacy notice covers that processing, not this one.
